Conformance  ·  The directory

The IOM conformance directory

The open, public record of implementations and partners evaluated against the IOM Standard. Every listing is dated, states the category it qualified under, and references the standard version it was checked against — so a buyer can verify a claim instead of taking it on trust.

The conformance program is in development. The first verified listings will appear here as the criteria and review process are finalized.

A directory, not a marketplace

Recognition you can check, not buy

A listing confers one thing: that an implementation or partner met the published requirements at a point in time. No vendor can buy a higher position, there are no sponsored placements, and the criteria are public so any entry can be independently checked. The same bar applies to commercial and open-source implementations alike.

Authority is declared, not assembled — and so is conformance.

What gets listed

Three kinds of recognition

Each entry is categorized so a buyer can tell a verified implementation from a delivery partner from an endorsing organization — and weigh each accordingly.

Conformant implementation

A product or platform that demonstrated every mandatory requirement against live infrastructure — not slideware. Open-source implementations are listed on the same terms as commercial ones.

Solution & service partner

An integrator or advisory firm with demonstrated capability to deliver against the standard. Listed for delivery capability, not for reselling a product.

Endorsing organization

An organization that has reviewed and publicly supports the standard as an industry initiative — recognition of the standard, distinct from conformance of a product.

How a listing stays honest

Every entry carries its own evidence

Dated

Each listing records when it was verified. Recognition is a point-in-time evaluation, not a permanent badge.

Versioned

Every entry names the standard version it was evaluated against (v1.0 today), so recognition stays meaningful as the standard evolves.

Tiered

Implementation, partner, and endorser stay distinct categories — never blurred to make a weaker claim look stronger.

Body-authored

Entries are written by the standard body against published criteria, not submitted as vendor copy. The review is what makes a listing worth something.

Build to the standard. Be recognized for it.

If your implementation meets the IOM requirements — or you deliver against them — apply to be evaluated and listed when the directory opens.
