IOM is a proposed vendor-neutral standard. Membership is how solutions and service providers that meet it become recognized — evaluated against the published requirements, with a public conformance directory and an IOM Conformant mark planned as the program develops.
The conformance program is in development. Early members help shape the criteria, the directory, and the mark.
An Infrastructure Operating Model is the authoritative layer that defines what infrastructure exists, what it is intended to do, and what actions are legitimate — before execution occurs.
The IOM has a founding member and curator.
BrightTech.ai is the founding member and curator of the IOM. It convenes the working group, maintains the standard, and shepherds each version — but curation is editorial, not control. The standard is published open under CC BY 4.0, no single vendor sets its direction, and conformance is earned against published criteria, including by its curator.
Founding members shape v1.0. Early organizations that build to the standard and join the working group help define what the IOM becomes.

Conformant Implementation
For platforms and products that satisfy all seven mandatory requirements — infrastructure governance, security, reconciliation, and automation systems. Listed as a Conformant Implementation and entitled to display the IOM Conformant mark.
